About award
SIBUR Holding established the IQ-CHem contest in 2010. As of today, SIBUR is Russia’s largest integrated gas processing and petrochemical company. More than 1,000 projects have been submitted by aspirants within the five-year history of the contest. From 2016 IQ-CHem has new open format to attract leading chemical corporations and venture funds seeking cooperation opportunities with promising startups, teams and university projects. Despite that there is a prize pool of $55,000, travel cost reimbursement and possibility to have a face-to-face meeting with the industry experts for winning teams.

- Possibility to create intellectual property;
